A suggestion - identify whether your local library has a copy of the AIT book and movie. If it does *not* and you'd really like to read the book or see the DVD then post a request here - and I (among others) will gladly amazon a copy of both to your local library, where you can request and absorb it.
Or you could provide the copy yourself and just post here that you've done so.
I gave my library a bunch - and the copies are all always out (which is good news). I will have to donate some more.
Perhaps eric could start a separate tally of libraries and states that have been served with hard copies??
Make it easy to donate (like you did for the movie) and with a volunteer or two doing the distribution (I will help) I am sure we can get a lot more copies out there.
Perhaps we can identify states that others would love to donate to : Massachusetts sending books to Kansas.....?
Perhaps better check whether ClimateCrisis has any special deal or donation plan with libraries at the moment.
This is a wonderful idea and I have to admit my inertia is due to not having enough funds to get it started.
I will draw up a plan to incorporate new pages on the site to be able to house information on libraries across the country.
I'd like to make it clear though, that my time towards this site are entirely on a volunteer basis so any donations contributed to this endeavor would go directly to the copies purchased. Thank you so much for stepping forward, and nudging me along--the sum of multiple people wanting to take action is indeed greater than its parts.
