Here's something else we can be doing about global warming, and it's free - download the climateprediction screensaver. This is a live climate modeling experiment that runs on your PC when you're not using it. All the computers that are currently running this software added together make up the most powerful computer in the world. There is no reason why half the computers (or all) the computers in the world shouldn't be running it. I don't know if Al Gore runs it, but I'm going to write and ask him.

It used to be a real pain to operate, confusing, technical and buggy, but some fabulous people have come along and made it really simple - see www.gridrepublic.org

It's a very simple process, and you can have your computer contribute to an even greater understanding of the effects of global warming in a couple of minutes.
