It seems like important documentaries are suddenly coming out of the woodwork! I thought this would be a good thread to list some of these films regarding climate changes and the environment we live in.

The Future of Food is an enlightening documentary on where our food comes from and the attempts of Corporations to control our food supplies and posion the food we eat.

Blowin in the wind. This film examines the recent treaty between Australia and the US which allows nuclear weapons to be tested in Australia. It covers the damage caused by Depleted Uranium weapons in the Iraq war. Terrifying stuff.

Just found out yesterday that Who Killed The Electric Car? is on google video free for anyone to watch:

[ UPDATE: Video has been taken down. ]

(Trailer here: http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/whokilledtheelectriccar/trailer/)

It's important to note that electric cars aren't the cure-all for our energy problems, since we still must get the energy from somewhere. However, the movie lends insight into the way oil companies have and exert their corporate interests to influence our marketplace...and our laws.
