Sheri: Thank you so much for the $$$ to take my bacon & SUV loving husband and his friend to see this movie. He was truly moved and is now on board with me about finding a way to trade our Suburban for a hybrid. We are broke, but are at least trying to find a used hybrid that we can even trade for.

My husband and his friend are now convinced that they need to take more of their friends to this movie. I have made a deal with my husband that I will work extra and send him to the Dave Matthews concert in August if he takes at least 10 friends to see the movie. He's very excited and will probably get it done by the end of next week. Yeah!

I've also convinced my Bush loving, SUV driving, couldn't care less about anything but herself friend to see it, without having to offer her anything. It was just a personal plea and she agreed. She has 3-year-old twins and I told her to do it for them. Hopefully she'll take her husband and keep the momentum going.

Friends at work are surprised that I've seen it twice and are getting curious. We'll see how that goes. AND, I went to the Honda dealer yesterday to test drive a Hybrid there and talked the salesman into going. I said it would be good for his job and aid in pitching the hybrids. Hopefully it does more than that, but I'll take what I can get!

Anyway, sorry for going on, but I'm excited about what I've done and what more I can hopefully do. If there is any organization that helps people escape their SUVs that you've heard of, let me know. I'm making baby steps here, but I think I'm starting to actually get somewhere!
